Better Communication (Chris Ganeff) ("we," "us," "our") operates bettercommunication.ca. This page explains what personal information we collect, why, and how you can contact us about it. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

What we collect

Contact Form: When you fill out the contact form on this site, we collect the information you provide — typically your name, email address, and message — along with your consent to be contacted, given via the checkbox on the form.

Booking a Discovery Call: When you book a call through Calendly, you're taken to Calendly's own site to schedule. Calendly collects the information needed to book (e.g., name, email, selected time) under its own privacy policy, which you can review at calendly.com/privacy. We receive your booking details (name, email, time selected) in order to prepare for and conduct the call.

Cookies and Analytics: This site runs on Squarespace, which uses cookies for basic site functionality and may collect anonymized analytics about how visitors use the site. We haven’t added any other tools.

‍Why we collect it

We use this information to:

  • Respond to your inquiry;

  • Prepare for and conduct booked calls;

  • Improve this website based on general usage patterns.

We do not sell your personal information, and we don't use it for marketing unless you've separately opted in to that.

How long we keep it

‍We keep contact form submissions and booking information only as long as needed to respond to you or deliver the service discussed, or as required by law.

You can ask us at any time to:

  • Tell you what personal information we hold about you

  • Correct inaccurate information

  • Delete your information, where reasonably possible
